A 15-minute walk from my house, The Good Neighbour is definitely one of my favourite coffee shops close to home. For an independent artisanal coffee shop, it's extremely cost-effective, high-quality and most importantly delicious.

I always order a medium or large house brew with steamed milk and there's no crazy added charges. Not to mention, they're extremely accommodating with dairy and sugar alternatives. They also have a selection of treats, some of which are vegan and GF from time to time. They also have a delicious and health-conscious menu if you want to have lunch with a friend.

As a self-employed person, this is also a great and vibrant space to get some work done. It's the perfect amount of quiet with table space and wifi to work remotely.

The staff are super sweet and helpful as well -- I highly recommend this spot!

Cute spot, very very busy on a weekday midday. Mocha latte w oat milk was very good, stayed hot for a very long time which is always appreciated in the colder weather. Yogurt parfait was surprisingly delicious - and a good amount for the price! I don't live anywhere near here but a cute neighbourhood spot, and nice bathrooms with baby change tables to boot!

This is a cute spot thats far from the trendy downtown stretches of Toronto.  I would say this might be one of two Junction spots that can pull a good espresso shot.

The spot is a cozy shop that has a lot of old feel and industrial aesthetics.  There is a decent amount of chairs but expect to be sharing as it's shared tables or large sofa seating.  When I was there, it was really busy.  Sure there is a lot of take out orders but most people are just relaxing with a cup and book.  There is a number of people with a laptop but they're mostly aware that they shouldnt be hogging up that much space.

The barista here was friendly and pretty speedy to explain the different drinks and make your drink.  I would say that their flat white is decent but if you like something unique their rose latte was a different twist.

Rose latte - this was pretty with it's dusting of a vibrant pink crushed petals on top of the latte.  It is very milky so if you're looking for a caffeine hit, this is not the drink for you.  it definitely is floral with the use of rose syrup and it borders on the bouquet in your face.  I didnt mind it but I'll probably stick to the regular flat whites going forward.  3.5/5

Flat White - a nice flat white where it was a good balance of milk to espresso.  It is bordering on the more acidic and tangy but not overly strong where you feel its sour or undrinkable.  I would say that this is definitely one of the best two drinks in the Junction for coffee (Alcove is the other one but they're closed on Sundays) 4/5

Overall, a really nice cozy spot for those who don't mind to walk to a neighbourhood spot off the main street (Dundas) in the Junction.  YOu could easily spend a few hours here chilling in a good spot.

I love supporting local businesses, and went out of my way every time I was in the neighbourhood volunteering to have a drink here. I appreciate their commitment to environmentally conscious ways of serving food and drink (paper straws, drinks in glasses and cups, plates, etc.) But to tell you the truth the coffee is just OK, and the service is very subpar. I expect a certain friendliness from neighbourly spots, and especially as this establishment has "the good neighbour" in its name, you expect welcoming faces. The barista/person at the cash register 9/10 times seems bored and/or condescending, unhappy to take my order, let alone neighbourly. I wanted very badly to make this my go-to local coffeeshop but I'm done. There isn't really anything enticing me to return to this place.

This is a nice coffee shop. The price are average. The place is spacious. Their coffee and pastries are good qualities. Staff are nice and other customers are nice. They have friendly atmosphere.
